Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Southtable collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have — including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA.

SOUTHERN TABLE LLC (“Southtable”, “we”) is the data controller for personal information processed through southtable.shop. You can contact us at support@southtable.shop or 501 South State Street, Bunnell, FL 32110, USA.

1. Information we collect

  • Order & contact details — name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, and the items you buy.
  • Payment information — handled directly by Stripe and PayPal. We receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last four digits and card brand) but never your full card number.
  • Communications — messages you send us via our contact or wholesale forms, and email correspondence.
  • Technical & usage data — IP address, device and browser type, and how you use the Site, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies below).

2. How we use your information

  • To process, fulfil and deliver your orders, and handle returns;
  • To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries;
  • To prevent fraud and keep the Site secure;
  • To send transactional emails (order and shipping updates);
  • With your consent, to send marketing emails and measure analytics;
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Contract — to process and deliver your order;
  • Legitimate interests — to secure the Site, prevent fraud and improve our service;

  • Sanity — Product content management.
  • Vercel — Website hosting & delivery.
  • Privacy-friendly analytics — Aggregate usage statistics (with consent).

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety and property.

5. Cookies & tracking

6. Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (generally up to 7 years for transaction records). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

We are based in the United States and some of our providers are located in the U.S. and elsewhere. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We use industry-standard measures — including HTTPS encryption and PCI-compliant payment processing — to protect your information. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe. The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
